| The Hampstead Main Street Merchants' Association will be holding its' first Fall Fest on Saturday, October 8th from 10 am to 2 pm. The event is sponsored by the business members of the HMSMA, and activities will be concentrated in the area of Main Street between Gill and Hillcrest Avenues.
There will be something for every member of the family to enjoy. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the bluegrass music of Aspen Run from 11 am until 1 pm. Stop by the Main Street Merchants tent and sign up for gifts from local merchants to be given away throughout the day. Drop off your food donations at the NESAP tent to help feed needy families in our community. Visit the Kid’s Zone to decorate a pumpkin, make a scarecrow or jump on the Superslide. Enjoy food from local merchants!
Come and watch cooks prepare pots of chili for Hampstead's first Chili Cook-Off, which will be co-hosted by Hampstead Main Street Merchants’ Association along with Keith and Linda Sampson of The New Sunset Inn at 1301 N. Main Street. Contestants are still needed, and entry forms may be obtained at The New Sunset Inn, Dean's Restaurant, or click here to download the registration form.
